CLOVER CLUB:

History 📖: This cocktail has seen many waves of popularity. It was huge in the late 1800s, then saw a decline in the 1930s. Most recently, its resurgence is due to the opening of the Clover Club bar in Brooklyn, NY in 2008.

Our Twist 🍸: The original recipe calls for a raspberry syrup which we switched out for a rhubarb and fermented strawberry syrup. The base spirit is Gin and we kept it that way because, Gin is great and anyone who says otherwise can fight me. The lemon juice is replaced with lime juice. And we added Savoia Americano for slight bitterness and complexity.

This drink is perfectly balanced between fruity, sour, and sweet with a velvety texture that comes from egg whites.

PERA SECA:

As a reimagined version of a sherry cobbler, this cocktail takes on a whole new life with pisco as the base and a ruby port float. It contains pisco, verjus, pear brandy, and a house made spiced amontillado sherry syrup.

A drink so good, Imbibe decided to write about. Link to the article, specs, and instructions on how to make the syrup are in my bio!

LIGHTING: this was done with natural lighting and a reflector on the right side. My camera was on a tripod as my coworker shaved some fresh nutmeg on top.

AÑO ‘24:

Inspired by a cocktail called “1910”, I took equal parts cognac, mezcal and punt e mes, added crème de cacao and green walnut liquor, then let the batch sit in freeze dried raspberries for 24 hrs.

It leaves you with a smoky, boozy and bold, yet fruity martini - definitely not for the faint of heart

The raspberries also give the cocktail a rich red hue that deserved a more elegant set up… Good thing Lita is such a pretty restaurant ☺️
