You may have noticed something of a resemblance between the two of us (if you’re brilliant, and I know you are), and you would be right on the money, because we are a team of mother and daughter! Between the two of us, there is arguably a descent amount of crazy (the good kind), but there is no denying that we both seek out the fun and adventure that life has to offer. (never ashamed of my o

This sunrise elopement has such a hold on me. I keep thinking about coming down the steps before the ceremony with the cello and violin playing and no one in sight except the groom and the officiant. That moment nearly brought me to tears. 🥲

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the dramatic photos, but if I were to tell you the ones that really get me. They are the hugs that look like they'll never let go. Peep a mother/daughter hug for the ages in the last photo. 🤍

Scotland part 2 of 2: During their vow exchange Matt + Alexis wanted to have a private moment with just them and the scenery, so we backed off way up the hill with our cameras and happy cried with the sheep while they said their "I dos".

Then we all frolicked along the mountainside together taking fun photos of them in the most wild landscape I've ever witnessed. If you are loving all of their Scotland elopement make sure to hop on over to our blog to view more from this magical day!

Following one of the craziest hikes I've ever been on, Matt + Alexis changed into their wedding attire and exchanged their vows on the top of the Quairaing on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. Their only guests were the local sheep who kept frolicking by for their photo op. (peep the sheep in the last photo) It is hard to put into words how epic this day was so I'll let the photos do the talking for me.

There are no words to describe how excited I am to share this elopement with you all! Back in the fall my husband and I journeyed with our best friends to the Scottish Highlands for their elopement. The magic of that day will forever live rent free in my head. If you're a sucker for drama and landscapes then keep an eye out because over the next few days I'm going to be sharing the photos from this epic Elopement on the Isle of Skye.

As I write this these two are climbing up Machu Picchu in Peru for the Honeymoon! In their vows Meridith + Nathan shared how so much of the best moments in their relationship has been climbing mountains together. (so of course Laurel Falls was the best place for their wedding)

Part 3 of 3: Umbrella sword fights in the rain? Absolutely. Clouds so thick you can't see each other 30 ft away? Yep. Endless smiles and laughs? Guaranteed.

Part 2 of 3: I totally thought this shoot wasn't going to happen. Minutes before we began photographing for these two the skies were letting down a particular kind of fury you only get on the mountaintops. As the rains eased it left behind the most moody foggy/cloudy landscape that left me feeling like we were in the Pacific Northwest again. Peep the last photo to get the vibes of how we were felling by the end of the shoot!

Part 1 of 3: I can't help but bomb your feed with multiple posts of these two and their adorable elopement style shoot. (They officially tied the knot two days later with family and friends but wanted a special moment that was just for the two of them) So keep an eye out for the next two posts which are coming in the next few days.
