WAKISO TOWN COUNCIL & DISTRICT: 3 MONTHS GONE, NO JUSTICE.

This is Najja Nasiif (Chairman LC5 Wakiso District), Mpanga Charles Map Mediya (LC5 Councillor Wakiso TC) & Nammada Josephine Jojo wa Bobi (LC5 Woman Councillor Wakiso TC).

They petitioned court over the Jan 2026 Local Government elections.

The law says Local Government petitions MUST be decided in 3 MONTHS.

Today we are in month 4. No hearing date. No judge deployed. No explanation to voters.

Judiciary's own admission: "Funding gap" - money from Ministry of Finance not released for the 118 petitions (over 100 MP + ove 10 Local Govt).

Wakiso people voted. Wakiso people deserve answers.

We demand the High Court Registrar and Principal Judge fix a date NOW for Wakiso petitions.
