Spend a little time looking into urban exploration, or often referred to as Urbex, and you'll quickly learn about the governing philosophy of most explorers... "Take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but footprints." Urbex for me is all about combining my passion for photography, and enjoying the adventures, discovery, and sometimes danger of exploring. It's being in places where most will ne
ver step foot in, where most would never go, and where most tell you you shouldn't be... It's admiring and appreciating the beauty in decay and abandonment. The beauty, the architecture, the artifacts found left behind telling stories of people's lives and better times, this is what exploring is all about. With my photography and exploring, I hope to be able to capture and share the history, beauty, and stories these long lost and forgotten beauties have to reveal. Where society and time have moved on, explorers will remain to keep them from dying in the shadows and ruin where they've been left. I have a camera, I have abandonment issues... I'm an urban explorer.
