CHANGAMOTO KUBWA ILIYOPO KATIKA SEKTA YA ELIMU NCHINI TANZANIA KWA MUJIBU WA SHERIKA LA HAKI ELIMU KUPITIA UCHAMBUZI WA BAJETI YA SERIKALI KWA MWAKA 2014/2015

"Kuwekeza katika elimu halijawahi kuwa jambo ghali ingawa lina gharama zake kila mahali lakini jambo lenye gharama kubwa zaidi ni kuacha kuwekeza kabisa. Uwekezaji duni kwenye elimu unaongeza gharama kubwa kwa jamii katika masuala ya ugharamiaji wa matumizi ya umma, uhalifu, afya, na ukuaji wa Uchumi". Elimu ni haki ya msingi kwa kila mtu na ni muhimu kwa mustakabali wa nchi yeyote, lakini wengi wamekuwa wakiikosa hali hii kutokana na uwekezaji duni. Uwekezaji mdogo katika katika elimu unapunguza uwezo wa Serikali kutoa elimu bora na iliyo sawa kwa wote.

Nchini Tanzania, tunalazimika kusema kuwa, vikwazo vingi kwenye sekta ya elimu ni matokea ya Serikali kushindwa kuwekeza vya kutosha kwenye elimu. Elimu nchini Tanzania imeandamwa na dhana au fikra ya "Urithishaji wa hadhi ya elimu" tatizo la kidunia ambapo mafanikio ya watu ki-elimu kwa kiasi kikubwa hutegemea hali yao ya kiuchumi na hali ya elimu ya wazazi wao. Hali hii hutokea katika mazingira ambapo Serikali imeachia sekta binafsi kutoa elimu na hivyo kutokuwekeza vya kutosha katika sekta hiyo.

Kuondoa mtazamo huo, nchi inahitajika kuliweka jukumu la utoaji wa elimu chini ya Serikali kuu na kulifanya kuwa jukumu lake la msingi. Mgao wa bajeti ndani ya sekta unapaswa kuwa mkubwa na unaoendana na mahitaji.

Swali linabaki kwetu: Je, Serikali inawekeza vya kutosha katika sekta ya elimu kuhakikisha tunazalishana wasomi wenye tija katika kuchangia maendeleo ya Tanzania iikiwa ni pamoja na lengo la kufikia nchi ya viwanda na uchumi wa kati ifikapo 2025?

MESSAGE ON THE INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ELIMINATION OF
SEXUAL VIOLENCE IN CONFLICT
New York, 19 June 2016

The world continues to witness appalling levels of sexual violence in wartime. No region is immune to this scourge, which continues to affect women, girls, boys and men.

There has also been clear progress and unprecedented political momentum to address these crimes.

Sexual violence is now widely recognized as a deliberate strategy used to shred the fabric of society; to control and intimidate communities and to force people from their homes. It is rightly seen as a threat to international peace and security, a serious violation of international humanitarian and human rights law, and a major impediment to post-conflict reconciliation and economic development.

There have been landmark cases against political and military leaders, demonstrating that the era of impunity for sexual violence as a tool of war is over. I pay tribute today to the many thousands of caregivers, medical practitioners, advocates, and others on the frontline of this battle, who are fighting for change.

However, we still face serious challenges.

One extremely disturbing aspect is the use of sexual violence as a tactic of terrorism. Daesh, Boko Haram and other extremist groups are using sexual violence as a means of attracting and retaining fighters, and to generate revenue.

Abducted women, men, girls and boys suffer the most terrible trauma through brutal physical and sexual assault, child and forced marriages and sexual slavery on a massive scale.

The abduction of more than 200 girls from Chibok in Nigeria, and the continued tragedy of women and girls subjected to forced marriage or sexual slavery by extremist groups in the Middle East, are two of the most horrific examples of the use of sexual violence as a tactic of terrorism. I call for the immediate release of all those taken captive, and for the care and support of those who return, who can suffer from social isolation and depression.

Women and girls with children may need specialized medical and psycho-social support, and this must extend to the children themselves, who can suffer complete rejection.

The shame and social stigma faced by these women and children should be redirected towards the brutal perpetrators of violence.

We must continue to speak up for the women, girls, men and boys whose bodies for too long have been considered the spoils of war.

Education is very important to human life and development in general. Through Education people setting strategic plan and it's implementation. Through Education, we see changes in various sectors today (Improving of Agriculture Sector, Improving of Technology, Improving of Health Services etc). Education gives us ability to life and to make changes as much as we can. Although, Education categorized into its type according to the way of providing (Formal Education System & Informal Education System).

But, Quality Education control in all levels of education by 2030 to eliminate poverty and it all forms, for Sustainable Development Goals (2016 - 2030)

Katika hali isiyo ya kawaida, binti akatishwa masomo akiwa darasa sita, mkoa Shinyanga na kuingizwa Kwenye ndoa na mtu wa miaka 26 kwa mahali ya Ng'ombe 14. Taarifa zinaeleza kuwa kusudio la kumuozesha binti halikufanikiwa k**a ilivyokusudiwa, badala yake Jeshi la Polisi mkoani Shinyanga kwa kushirikiana na shirika la Agape linalopambana na uvunjifu wa haki za watoto wakike limefanikiwa kuzuia ndoa ya binti. Kwa mkoa wa Shinyanga hii sio mara moja kwa mabinti kukatishwa masomo kwa kupata mimba akiwa shuleni ama kuozeshwa.

Kwa kawaida binti huyo bado yupo Kwenye umri wa mtoto kwa mujibu wa Sera ya Mtoto ya Mwaka 2009, ambayo inatoa tafasiri kuwa mtoto mtu aliye chini ya miaka 18. Japo ukinzani wa Sera bado changamoto, maana tunaona Serikali ya kupiti sheria ya ndoa ya mwaka 1971 inatoa ridhaa mtu aliye na miaka 15 kuolewa.

The meeting participated with youth representatives from Tanzania Youth Vision Association (TYVA), The Movers, ENREDO and other representatives from European and American.

TAARIFA KWA UMMA: Soma ikishirikiana na Ubalozi wa Ireland inakukaribisha katika shughuli ya kutambua na kuadhimisha mchango na Sanaa za wanawake zilivyohamasisha harakati za ukombozi Tanzania na Ireland. Shughuli ikiwa ni sehemu ya maadhimisho ya karne moja tangu harakati zao za ukombozi za mwaka 1916.

Maadhimisho haya yataambatana na mazungumzo ya wazi juu ya wanawake na harakati za ukombozi nchini Tanzania na Ireland. Pia kutakuwa na uhondo wa sanaa za: ushairi wa Tanzania na Ireland, muziki, na Sanaa za maonyesho za wanawake. Maandishi ya Fasihi ya wakati wa kudai uhuru yatakuwa miongoni mwa vionyeshwa.

Karibu tushirikiane kuienzi na tuwe sehemu ya ujenzi wa historia ya pamoja na kusherehekea utenzi na ubunifu wa wanawake.
