It’s been a struggle for me to move away from close up portraits to photographing wildlife in their landscapes. My go to lenses have been the 400 and 600 mm primes. During my recent trip to Kenya March, 2025. I found my self shooting more with the 300mm 2.8 prime and the 70-200 2.8. Having 3 Sony bodies with 3 different lenses ready to go lets me shoot both close up and much wider capturing the wildlife and their surroundings. Continues to be a work in progress and keeps me going back.
