Leica Summilux-M 35/1.4 ASPH. Pre-FLE 11874
這款鏡頭的非球面鏡片與旁邊的鏡片容易有薄霧的問題需要清潔，而非球面鏡片拆解組裝時需有特別的光軸校正。我常常收到這款鏡頭有光圈全開成像不良的問題，都是非球面鏡片被拆清但沒有被正確的校正和組裝
它還有一個更常見的問題是後膠合鏡組保證會脫膠，它嚴重脫膠的情況是其中一個膠合面會變質和明顯的霉蝕痕⋯⋯🤪
11874會有的問題，在11663(FLE)上也一樣會有🤪
上述問題看似嚴重～但我都可以完好的修復 😅

Leica Summilux-M 35/1.4 ASPH. Pre-FLE 11874
The aspherical element in this lens, along with the adjacent element, is prone to developing a haze that needs cleaning. However, disassembling and reassembling the aspherical element requires specialized optical axis alignment. I often receive this lens suffering from poor image quality when shot wide open—this is almost always because the aspherical element was taken apart for cleaning but wasn't properly recalibrated and reassembled.
An even more common issue with this lens is that the rear cemented lens group is eventually guaranteed to separation. In severe cases, one of the cemented surfaces deteriorates and leaves obvious marks of fungal etching... 🤪
The exact same issues found in the 11874 also occur in the 11663 (FLE). 🤪
These issues may sound serious, but I can repair them properly and restore them perfectly 😅

LEICA SUMMILUX-M 24mm f/1.4 ASPH. 鏡片油點清潔 Cleaning the oil spots on FLE

這支LEICA SUMMILUX-M 24mm f/1.4 ASPH.的浮動鏡組的其中一枚鏡片的邊緣有幾滴明顯的油點需要清潔
它的浮動鏡組位於鏡片結構的後半部，需要從前端開始把大部分的結構都拆解，才有辦法取出浮動鏡組
浮動鏡組是由兩枚鏡片構成，一枚是鑲嵌在金屬框上，一枚是用橡皮圈固定在這金屬框裡。有沾上油點的就是這枚可以單獨拆卸的鏡片
在拆鏡的過程中發現，內鏡筒有很多滲漏的潤滑油脂，這可能是造成鏡片上出現油點的原因，這些都會在拆裝過程中清除，而拆解過程中難免會觸碰到其他鏡片，這也必須在組裝過程中一併清潔乾淨
為了要清潔一枚鏡片上的油點，必須要整支鏡頭幾乎肢解，這確實是一件耗時費工的工作～

This LEICA SUMMILUX-M 24mm f/1.4 ASPH. came in with noticeable oil spots on the edge of its floating element group, which sits in the rear section of the lens. To get to it, I had to strip down almost the entire structure from the front.
The floating element group holds two lenses—one embedded in the metal frame and one held in place by a rubber O-ring. The latter was the one contaminated with oil. During the process, I found a lot of leaked lubricant inside the inner barrel, which was likely the root cause of the oil spot on the glass. All of this migrated grease will be thoroughly cleaned out during the overhaul.
Aside from degreasing the barrel, any other elements touched during the teardown will be carefully cleaned during reassembly. It’s an incredibly tedious and time-consuming job just for one tiny oil spot, but that’s what it takes to do it right!

***Leica M/LTM鏡頭的移焦問題基本上是都可以解決的！***
似乎有不少玩Leica M/LTM 的人不知道自己的鏡頭有連動對焦移焦的問題，有些是一直用都沒察覺、有些則是以為老鏡頭不銳利是正常的事，直到送來給我維修保養才被告知有移焦的問題 😅

FUJIFILM GA645W Professional 修復後膠合鏡組脫膠離膠 Fixing the rear doublet elements separation

FUJIFILM GA645W Professional 中片幅隨身機配置了SUPER-EBC FUJINON 45mm f/4.0鏡頭
這個案例的後膠合鏡組有出現脫膠離膠的問題，處理的方式就是把有問題的鏡組分離，徹底清潔之後再重新黏合，脫膠離膠的問題就可以完全被修復

The FUJIFILM GA645W Professional, a medium format point-and-shoot camera, is equipped with a SUPER-EBC FUJINON 45mm f/4.0 lens.
In this case, the rear cemented lens group has a problem in element separation. The repair process involves taking apart the two elements which originally cementing together, cleaning them thoroughly, and then re-cementing the elements. This procedure completely resolves the separation issue.

Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 5cm f/2.0 Collapsible Contax RF Mount 前鏡片拋光全鏡清潔 Polishing front element, Full Cleaning

我收到這支 Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 5cm f/2.0 Collapsible Contax RF Mount 的時候，它的狀況並不好。前鏡片外側面有很多刮傷擦傷痕跡，內鏡片有明顯薄霧，光圈葉片也有明顯的油漬
全鏡拆解後，鏡片與光圈組件都仔細清潔，前鏡片的外側面也進行拋光處理
最後兩張是拋光前後的試拍照，是拍照的場景特別安置幾盞對著鏡頭的光源，模擬逆光的環境，逆光環境拍照可以容易的看出鏡頭的鏡片有沒有問題。兩張試拍照的相機設定都是一樣的，也都是f/2.0全開光圈。可以清楚看出拋光前後的成像有明顯的差異。拋光前，鏡片滿滿擦拭傷痕的逆光情況下拍照，光源周圍會有明顯的光暈外溢，整體反差與色彩飽和度都偏低，照片看起來就是髒髒的感覺；拋光之後，光源周圍光暈外溢現象大幅收斂，整體畫質乾淨，飽和度與反差都大幅提升
When I received this Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 5cm f/2.0 Collapsible Contax RF Mount lens, its condition was not good. The outer surface of the front element had many scratches and friction marks, the inner elements had heavy haze, and the aperture blades were oily.
After a complete disassembly of the lens, both the lens elements and the aperture assembly were carefully cleaned, and the outer surface of the front element was polished.
The last two images are test shots taken before and after the polishing. For these shots, a specific scene was set up with several light sources pointed directly at the lens to simulate a backlit environment. Backlighting is an effective way to easily reveal any issues with the lens elements. The camera settings were identical for both test shots, and both were taken at a wide-open aperture of f/2.0.
The results clearly show a significant difference in image quality before and after polishing:

Before polishing: With the element full of scratch marks, the backlit photo showed significant flaring (light halo overflow) around the light sources, and the overall contrast and color saturation were low, making the photo look "dirty."
After polishing: The light halo phenomenon around the light sources was substantially reduced, the overall image quality is clean, and both saturation and contrast have greatly improved.

CANON LENS FD 24mm f/1.4 L 修復膠合鏡組脫膠離膠 Fixing the doublet elements separation

這支Canon Lens FD 24mm f/1.4 L出現一個這款鏡頭常見的問題，就是它的後膠合鏡組有明顯的脫膠離膠。我已經順利修復過幾支FD 24/1.4L的這個問題，這次剛好有比較清楚完整的紀錄。
這次有脫膠離膠問題的是位在光圈葉片後的膠合鏡組，它也是這款鏡頭最常出問題的鏡組，不過只需要正確的處理過程，就可以將這個問題完美的修復。
這支FD24/1.4L除了有膠合鏡組脫膠的問題之外，其他的鏡片有明顯的薄霧和油霧，光圈葉片也有油漬需要清洗。全部鏡片和整個光圈組都拆解出來，徹底清潔乾淨，就可以讓把這支鏡頭的問題都解決，讓它恢復到最好的狀態！

This Canon FD 24mm f/1.4 L lens came in with one of the common issue for this model: doublet elements separation in the rear cemented lens group. I've successfully fixed this problem on several FD 24/1.4L lenses, and this time I made sure to take a clearer and more complete record of the repair.
The cemented group with the elements separation issue is located behind the aperture blades— this group that most commonly has problems in this lens. But honestly, with the right process, I can get this problem fixed up perfectly.
Besides the cement separation, this FD 24/1.4L also had a noticeable haze and oil film on the other glasses, and the aperture blades are oily and need cleaning. By fully disassembling all the lens elements and the entire aperture unit for thorough cleaning, all the issues with this lens can be resolved, restoring it to its best possible condition!

Canon FD 300mm f/2.8 L 救一支鏡頭！重新拋光受損傷的鏡片 Saving a lens by re-polishing a damaged lens element

客人將這支 Canon FD 300mm f/2.8 L送來的時候，它有一個內鏡片因不明原因被胡亂打磨過，造成鏡片表面非常粗糙凹凸不平整，也讓這支鏡頭沒辦法拍出清楚的照片，不管是最大光圈或是縮到f/8.0成像都是糊糊的
我依照傳統的拋光處理，製作拋光模具之後，小心的拋光，將大部份粗糙的表面拋除，讓鏡片重新恢復它原本的曲度以及平整光滑，只留下一些比較深的點狀傷痕沒有拋除
最後四張試拍照兩兩對比，都是全開光圈f/2.8的時候拍的，可以清楚看到拋光前、後的成像有非常顯著的差異。這支鏡頭在拋光後的成像全開光圈就已經是清晰銳利，我察覺不出跟正常的鏡頭有差異
透過拋光的方式，拯救了一支原本要被廢棄的鏡頭！

When the guest brought me this Canon FD 300mm f/2.8 L lens, one of the inner elements had been rough-ground for unknown reasons, resulting in a very rough and uneven surface that prevented the lens from producing clear photos. Regardless of whether shot at wide-open aperture or stopped down to f/8.0, the images were always blurry.
I followed traditional polishing methods, creating a polishing mold, and carefully polished the lens, removing most of the rough surface and restoring the original curvature and smoothness of the element, while leaving some deeper point-like scratches untouched.
In the end, I took four test shots, paired for comparison, all shot wide open at f/2.8, clearly showing a significant difference in image quality before and after polishing. The images with the lens after polishing were sharp and clear even at full aperture, and I couldn’t detect any difference compared to a normal lens.
Through the polishing process, I salvaged a lens that would have otherwise been discarded!
