Favourite moments captured in Y2025 🎉

This year I found myself not just swarmed with work, but also the fatigue that comes after work. Though that did not dilute my passion for photography.

Looking through my photo gallery, amongst the 5000 plus photos & videos taken this year, bout a third were work related; and the rest - just intentional day-to-day snaps of me living life. As always grateful for the opportunities to travel and fly my drone. Still, hoping that I’ll have the freedom of more creative time & inspiration in Y2026! 😊

I like how everything feels more preserved as we travel down south to . Stall vendors serving their traditional handmade noodles and cake in their home-owned shophouses. Television’s broadcasting the daily evening news, traditional calendar still showing the day before, rustic furnitures that I only briefly sat in in my grandparents’ place years back, and the many eye-catching red lanturns to market their traditional noodles. Did I miss out anything? Love the simplicity of life here. I think we all need a little bit of this at some point in life 🏮 You feel me?

Bikers rule the streets of Taiwan. 🛵 But there’s something different further down south in Tainan, the streets of the island’s oldest city still bear the rustic look of the past. Many eye catching signboards hang out deep into the streets as if competing for passerby’s limited attention.

Here are just some of thr many favourites taken over this last week. I’d be sharing more captures over the past week from Tainan > Kaoshiung > Taipei. The common theme throughout being the streets of Taiwan. Really love the vibrance and the liveliness of everything going on in this series. Take your time to enjoy them!
