日本攝影師 Shin Noguchi 引用了小說家Mark Twain的名言「Truth is stranger than fiction」，認為街頭攝影能忠實記錄一些人性化、美麗、帶點異常的時刻，這些日常畫面就算沒經過精心舖排、當事人並不自知，但也比經典戲劇更動人。
