The beautiful and peaceful Pamukkale, Turkey. The name comes from the Turkish and mean "cotton castle", ['Pamuk' meaning 'cotton' and 'kale' meaning 'castle'.] According to legend, these pools are believed to cure you of diseases and make you beautiful.

Think it's about time to share some photos of people I have met on travels. For a long time now I have wanted to capture the beauty and uniqueness of people I meet, but was always fearful of asking people if I could take their photo, what if they said no? What if they got offended? Something always stopped me. However, this day in Essaouira I decided to take myself and my camera off for a walk. After a while I met these two smiling souls whose joyful nature and pretty incredible headwear (😱🙌) made me think I just have to ask!... They giggled to eachother and kindly agreed. So, this is Aziz and his friend they sell beautiful handmade Touareg jewellery and accessories in Essaouirra, Morocco and they moved there from the desert when they were younger. Nomads of the Sahara are often seen wearing a tagelmust (although not quite as colourful as these) in order to protect from the desert's fierce extremes. Looking back at this photo I feel really grateful for meeting these two, their kindness was the final push I needed to get over my fear of asking!
