Film Street Photography, Roll #1 🎞️

I’ve always been fascinated by film photography. My first professional camera was actually a film SLR, and it’s where I first learned a lot about photography.Recently, I found this Minolta Riva 130 Zoom for really cheap and decided to give it a try. Honestly, the results surprised me really sharp for such a small camera.The autofocus was a bit challenging for street photography, especially when I needed to react quickly, but overall it was a really fun experience.

I love complex frames, layers, and busy streets, but I’m equally drawn to quiet, minimalist compositions. These photographs were taken in different parts of the world, yet when I look at them together, they share the same feeling: simplicity, space, light, and minimalism.

Diana Antiques Market, Cairo
I had always heard about this vintage market in Cairo. One morning, after roaming the streets of Cairo until sunrise, I somehow found myself walking into it.
You can find almost anything here, old objects, cameras, books, and countless little pieces of history. I even found an old Agfa Silette L camera to take home with me.
If you’re in Cairo, I’d definitely recommend getting lost here for a while. I hope you enjoy the photos.
