💙𝑻𝒖𝒓𝒌𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝑫𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕🕌
Most of you know me for my look away photos wearing saree in beautiful nature: lakes, beaches, mountains, deserts, forests, beautiful roads, flower fields, autumn scenes and what not, you just name it! After trying those me in nature photos here is another attempt where I tried to take those in cities! Last two years have been trying to take those photos in 15 different cities (Istanbul, Doha, Casablanca, Marrakech, Cairo, Hongkong, Amsterdam, Athens, Santorini, Rome, Vatican City, Budapest, Bucharest, Jakarta, Bali, Kuala Lumpur) around the world. My try was to create upbeat, modern, and elegant yet simple look wearing sarees! And in that process Jamdani saree was in my top inspo, and tried to wear it at least once in all the cities I have visited in these past two years. The reason for choosing Jamadani was to represent Bangladesh and these saree can give you very modern yet fairytale look as well. I tried to put on some other material sarees here and there too! Starting this new series “Afrin Around the World” in Saree with my fav city: Istanbul! 💙 So far I have 24 posts in this series (hopefully,🤞it may change)!!!! I know so many posts, and quite overwhelming!! Not sure how long it will take for me to upload all these photos and reels, and complete this series but uploading the first one is always a good start!
I am glad I put on saree and capture all my dream shots without further ado after arriving. The next day was very cold with rain. And it was no brainer to pick a blue Jamdani saree for this city of blue mosque!
All the countries I have visited in past two years feel a distant dream while grinding in my daily life right now. Don’t wanna make that dream fade away by adding these photos time to time in my timeline!
