The journey that starts from Afghanistan and continues between continents..
Afghanistan is one of the countries where the migration problem is most intense. In this country, there has been an ongoing migration for years due to war, economic, ethnic, religious and freedom of rights. Many countries are invariably transit routes in this migration journey. Turkey is one of the most important stops of the migration journey that continues first with Pakistan and then with Iran. Turkey, on the other hand, functions as a gateway to the west.
The photographs present sections on this migration journey. A cross-section of the stories of immigrants who continue their migration journey despite the Covid-19 outbreak, cold, heat and smugglers on Van, Tatvan, Bitlis and Diyarbakır roads and stops.

Afganistan’dan başlayan ve kıtalar arası süren yolculuk..
Göç sorunun en yoğun yaşandığı ülkelerden biri de Afganistan. Bu ülkede savaş, ekonomik, etnik, inanç ve hak özgürlükler nedeni ile yılardır süregelen bir göç yaşanıyor. Bu göç yolculuğunda bir çok ülke değişmez geçiş güzergahı. Önce Pakistan ardından İran’la devam eden göç yolculuğunun en önemli duraklarından biri de Türkiye. Türkiye ise batıya açılan kapı işlevi görüyor.
Fotoğraflar, bu göç yolculuğunda kesitler sunuyor. Covid-19 salgını, soğuğa, sıcağa ve kaçakçılara rağmen göç yolculuğuna devam eden göçmenlerin Van, Tatvan, Bitlis ve Diyarbakır yolları ve duraklarındaki hikayelerinin bir kesiti.

Tirkiye peywira vebûna deriyê li Ewropayê dibîne.
Wêne, beşeke vê rêwîtiya koçê pêşkêş dikin. Beşeke ji çîrokên koçberên li rê û rawestegehên Wan, Tetwan, Bedlîs û Amedê ye ku tevî pandemiya Covid 19, serma, germ û qaçaxçiyan rêwîtiya xwe ya koçê berdewam kirin.

Before sunrise, Melek Acemoğlu leaves her home in Diyarbakır to join dozens of women at the Women’s Commune Urban Gardens.
In plots where tomatoes, peppers, melons and cucumbers grow, their work goes beyond feeding families today. They are also saving seeds to sustain future harvests.
For these women, the soil is more than a source of food. It has become a shared space for production, solidarity, and hope.

Gün doğmadan evinden çıkan Melek Acemoğlu, Diyarbakır’daki Kadın Komün Kent Bostanlarında diğer kadınlarla birlikte üretim yapıyor. Domates, biber, kavun ve salatalıkların yetiştiği bostanda kadınların emeği yalnızca bugünün sofrasına değil, gelecek sezonların tohumlarına da uzanıyor. Toprak, burada üretimin yanı sıra dayanışmanın ve umudun da ortak alanına dönüşüyor.

The Lost Pearls of Tavus
Among the ancient peoples of Mesopotamia, the Yazidis place the center of their faith in the Lalesh Valley, located in the Shekhan region of the Kurdistan Federal Region of Iraq. For them, Lalesh is not merely a geographical location; it is regarded as the center of the world, a sacred place where life and faith meet. In the depths of the valley, in the shadow of white-domed temples, rituals that have endured for thousands of years continue to flowquietly, yet with great power.

Morîyên Windabûyî yên Tawusê
Êzîdî, yek ji gelên kevnar ên Mezopotamyayê, Geliyê Laleşê li herêma Şegan a Herêma Federal a Kurdistana Iraqê wekî navenda baweriya xwe dibînin. Ji bo Êzîdiyan, Laleş ne tenê cihekî erdnîgarî ye; ew wekî navenda cîhanê tê hesibandin, cihekî pîroz ku jiyan û bawerî lê digihîjin hev. Di kûrahiya geliyê de, di bin siya perestgehên bi qubbeya spî de, rêûresmên ku bi hezaran salan dom kirine bêdeng, lê bi hêzek mezin berdewam dikin.

Tavus’un Kayıp İncileri
Mezopotamya’nın kadim halkları arasında yer alan Ezidiler, inançlarının merkezini Irak Kürdistan Federal Bölgesi’nin Şeğan bölgesinde bulunan Laleş Vadisi’nde kabul ederler. Ezidiler için Laleş sadece coğrafi bir konum değildir; burası Ezidiler için dünyanın merkezi, yaşamın ve inancın buluştuğu kutsal bir yer olarak kabul edilir. Vadinin derinliklerinde, beyaz kubbeli tapınakların gölgesinde, binlerce yıldır süren ritüeller sessizce, ancak büyük bir güçle devam etmektedir.
