Kaeng Krachan never fails to surprise me. At first, the forest feels quiet, almost still, with its dark foliage pressing in on all sides. But as I spend time looking closer, the colours begin to reveal themselves.

An elephant slowly emerged from the shadows, a giant moving gently through the trees. A Calotes lizard clung to the leaves, so perfectly camouflaged it was almost invisible until the light caught its scales. The Chestnut-breasted Malkoha slipped between branches with its striking tail feathers trailing behind, while a Sultan Tit flashed brilliant yellow high in the canopy. Deeper in the forest, I watched silver-breasted broadbills carefully weaving their nest, a reminder of how much life is built quietly in the trees.

By dusk at Panoen Thung, the forest gave one last gift. The sky shifted to deep purples and blues as the sun disappeared, the colours echoing the beauty hidden in the foliage all around.

These are the elephants roaming around the Khao Yai National Park and every now and again, shempre kelangan nila tumawid ng kalsada. I've been to อุทยานแห่งชาติเขาใหญ่ - Khao Yai National Park a bazzilion times pero parang laging bago sakin pag nandito ako.
Ano tara sama ka balik tayo?

When you feel small, look up. Even the vastness of the universe is intimately known by God—and so are you.

Fast forward tatlong dekada… sino mag-aakala?

This is just my personal observation—I might be wrong. But seeing the beauty of nature and wildlife being preserved is something I am always keen to support. I believe that each person holds a key to a healthy environment. The efforts of the rangers and national parks can only do so much; ultimately, people have an obligation to be aware—not just by following rules and standards, but through ethical awareness. Erawan isn’t just a park—it’s proof that with purpose and care, we can create spaces where both people and the planet thrive. The question is, are we willing to do the same?

What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make. -Jane Goodall I took a quick trip to Erawan National Park, and it felt like stepping into another world—lush, alive, and perfectly balanced. The emerald-green waterfalls weren’t just beautiful; th

Coming from Southeast Asia, experiencing the winter wilderness in South Korea was incredible. Watching birds like the Eurasian nuthatch on the snowy slopes of Mt. Balwangsan was such a stark and beautiful contrast to what I’m used to. These little birds are fascinating, they’re one of the few species that can climb both up and down tree trunks, and their name comes from their habit of wedging nuts into bark to crack them open. Seeing them gather food in such a harsh yet beautiful environment was a reminder of nature’s resilience.
