How often do you get the chance to put your skills to the test in a completely different environment?

At Photo Concept Events, you’ll get one theme, a limited time to shoot, and just 20 minutes to edit your final image. You’ll need to plan, get creative, make decisions on the spot and trust your eye.

It’s a chance to push yourself beyond your usual routine, see your photography from a different perspective, and learn something about your own process.

And it’s not just about the photos. It’s about meeting other photographers, exchanging ideas, sharing a little friendly competition and having a fun evening together.

I doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned professional or a photographer looking to challenge yourself and see what you can do, we’d love to have you there.

We’re starting to introduce the photographers taking part in our 24 October Photo Concept challenge and we are so happy to share that Sergiy Pudich is joining us!

He is Ukrainian filmmaker based in Bangkok, Sergiy has spent more than a decade directing fiction, documentaries and commercials.

His filmmaking background strongly influences the way he sees photography, and when he’s not working with moving images, Sergiy shoots 35mm film photography across Southeast Asia.

We’re very curious to see what he creates when we give him, one concept and limited time to shoot and edit. 📸

Photo Concept is BACK! New venue. New theme. Amazing prizes!

Come watch as 5 talented photographers face off in an exciting creative challenge. Join us for a live show! These competing photographers need your vote and support!

We are taking over this challenge at CALM BKK - Grill & Guinguette. It is an incredible outdoor garden space right in the city. Think great food, craft beers, and the perfect open air vibe for an evening of creativity and connection.

Recently, we paid a visit to the Bangkok Photographers Studio The Bangkok Photographer and if you’re into photography, this place is definitely worth checking out.

It has pretty much everything you need to turn an idea in your head into something inside the frame: lights, props, different lenses, a makeup room… and even some Nat Geo models. 😉

Yes, you saw that right? 🐍

There’s a whole snake room but a visit there is only for the chosen ones 🤫🤐. We’re not going to reveal too much… you’ll just have to check it out yourself.

We love discovering places like this because sometimes all you need is the right space, a few interesting props and a bit of time to experiment to see what you can come up with.

And when you’re done creating, you don’t even have to go far for a little recharge. Downstairs there’s a small restaurant serving homemade pastries, coffee and even burgers because after a creative session, food is obviously part of the process. ☕🥐🍔
