✨ New Year’s Eve in Palma De Mallorca ✨

Lights strung above the town square, casting an amber glow that dances with the yellow and orange hues of the buildings. The moon peeks through the blue post-sunset sky, adding a touch of magic to this dreamlike scene. 🌙

The Flatiron Building in New York City. A black and white image depicting its upper floors. On the left side of the frame you can see tree branches from Madison Square Park dancing their way into the image. They are a nod to the fact that the Flatiron Building and Madison Square Park are neighbors and close friends. The texture in the image makes me want to reach out and touch the building. I find the detail in the architecture to be breathtaking. There is a hint of sunlight that kisses the top of the building. This small detail really makes the image pop.

It’s hard to describe my love and appreciation for this photograph. It was a passing moment for me in NYC but it’s an image I cherish and hold dear. I spent a lot of time in that area during my eight years living in NYC and this image brings me right back. Nostalgia. A moment that no longer exists and yet still lives with me. I love the nostalgia that photography inspires.

“The Great Escape” 🏍️💨

A memorable day from 2015, riding through the vast landscapes between Austin, NV and Delta, UT with my father. The strong cross winds felt like we were navigating the ocean, while the mix of twisty passes at 7600 feet and endless flat stretches painted a scene of adventure. The mountains ahead were a majestic purple, and to the right, steel grey cliffs and brown shoulders stood tall. 🌄
