There's a sandbar at the west end of Saladan, that disappears in high tide. It's a lovely walk to the end in low tide, and a really nice photo opportunity in mid tide- creating an illusion like you're walking on water.

Their unique handcrafted structures nestled into the shade of the bamboo forest is a real hidden gem of Koh Lanta.

I highly recommend checking out the wonderful pools at Rawi Warin Resort and Spa, especially if you are on Koh Lanta with Kids who enjoy a good waterslide ;)
Rawi Warin welcomes outside guests for a price that is redeemable in food or drinks while you are there. Their amazing 200baht cocktails are on 2 for 1 happy hour most of the afternoon, making it a great deal even without the pool and majestic atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the sunset views are lovely around their ozone pools- don't forget your camera if you go!
