Panorama shot of the Teotihuacan archeological site. This picture was taken from the Moon pyramid overlooking a marketplace at the bottom, with the Sun pyramid in the background. It is common to find locals selling "Aztec death whistles" which mimic the sound of people screaming along with other kinds of sounds such as Jaguars, eagles and other animals. Check out my portfolio for downloadable content and special collections.

This photography is actually a composition of 59 drone shots of 48 mp's each, taken at an altitude of 115 mts above the subject. Safe to say it wasn't putting all this together wasn't an easy task for Lightroom. Check out my portfolio for more content.

The island of Teopan. It's name comes from ancient Pipil language and mean temple. When the Pipil first came to Coatepeque they considered an island in the middle of a caldera so sacred that they decided to call it sacred grounds. Make sure to check out my special collection on the island in my portfolio.

Some of the highest lagoons in the world are the sun and moon lagoonsin Toluca, Mexico. At 4,200 mts above sea level these sit next to each creating a unique ecosystem isolated from the rest of the planet with the exception of the occasional tourist and hiker here and there.

Tourism generates commerce. No matter where and how bizarre the climate is, there is barely any exceptions ti this rule. The tallest peak of El Salvador is not one of these exceptions. Here a popsicle seller hikes his way to the top everyday the volcano is open with the hopes of making a living. He has done it to the point of the experience of buying popsicles has become somewhat part of the attraction itself.

We don’t often see how much traffic the attraction of being at the top generates. But Ilamatepec is a prime example of long lines at high altitudes. It is often unseen the vast amounts of people that selfie cams hide behind in these places.

Sulfur rich water sits at the bottom of Ilamatepec’s crater. At more than 2,300 meters above sea level makes this highest peak in El Salvador and a destination for locals and tourists alike.
