The Independent Electoral Committee (IEC) of the Twic Mayardit Youth Association for Development (TMYAD) hereby invites accredited media houses to apply for authorization to cover the forthcoming 2025–2027 electoral process.

The IEC seeks applications from reputable and duly recognized media organizations in South Sudan with a demonstrated track record of covering official events. Accredited media partners will play a vital role in ensuring transparency and public engagement by providing live coverage, producing educational and informational content, and conducting interviews related to the elections.

Interested media organizations are required to submit the following:
• A formal cover letter addressed to the IEC
• Organizational profile or résumé
• Accreditation certificates and other relevant legal documents
• Contact details of the personnel to be assigned for coverage

All applications should be submitted electronically to [email protected] no later than Friday, September 19, 2025, at 5:00 PM (CAT).

The IEC looks forward to working closely with professional media partners to guarantee credible, inclusive, and transparent elections for the Twic Mayardit Youth Association for Development.

Apuk Giir Youth Union Gifts New Car to Two Friends for Life

In a touching event at Freedom Hall in Juba, the Apuk Giir Youth Union gave a brand new 2006 Premio car to the well-known music artist and producer, Two Friends for Life. The gift was presented by General Gregory Vasili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense. He praised the artists for their positive impact on the community.

This generous gift was in recognition of Two Friends for Life’s song dedicated to the Apuk Giir Thiik Community. The song has become very popular locally, spreading a message of unity and hope. It has helped bring people together and is seen as an anthem of solidarity.
