Sometimes it is hard to write about ourselves ...
So maybe a few words ...
My name is Milan Kuran and I was born on September 29th, 1970 in the middle of Europe, in Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovakia. My father was the one who took first steps towards photography with me in a darkroom with slight dull light of a red bulb. Searching for emotions, feelings, expression and a form means much more to me than
collecting the amount of megapixels. Photography is my joy, my sadness, my pain ...
With a “good light” greeting. My philosophy:
I find it hard to find words that would describe the essence of unknown. I realised a long time ago that for me a photography is not just a tool for showing beauty or feelings. It is a part of something untouchable, something that you cannot describe. It's a part of the creation not only record. I´m sure you know the feeling, the moment when you´re searching, taking pictures, permanently eliminating a chance and finally the feelings come that surprise you with an incredible added value. The feelings that go from your head down to your chest. And you get back to it all the time. Of course, the doubt will come. Did I wanted it this way? Is it me? This doubt will vanish with or**sm that will pleased your eye, your soul. And suddenly you will understand. There´s no way back from this journey, you just walk, you run. And you´ll find out that there is humility in it and you don´t own it…. It is a reward and a gift for all. Perhaps a writer or a poet would find more appropriate words ...
