This week, we’re sharing portraits by Petra Rjabinin, one half of Good Studio. To get to know the person she is about to photograph, Petra prefers to meet them first for coffee and a chat. This helps a lot in breaking the ice as not everyone is immediately relaxed in front of the camera, as it does make them feel vulnerable. But don't worry, if you don't feel like talking, Petra will happily make up stories about you while she takes your photo! ;)

Following this, the selection and editing process is equally significant. After all, it's not every day you get to pick the face you want to show the world. Together with Petra you will choose photos you feel represent you best as an individual as well as fit the purpose you need them for.

A Brno-based loudspeaker manufacturer, Harangi, creates speakers with a minimalist, aesthetically pleasing design. Photographing them on location was a pleasure. The rolling dunes create the ideal metaphor for sound waves, emphasizing the speakers' performance. Furthermore, they provide a stunning backdrop for the photo shoot, making it perfect for Harangi's visual content.

Selecting the right photo (from a 2-hour portrait session) and editing it correctly is half the battle, as they say. The expression on the sitter's face can sometimes make or break it. Technical errors can often be corrected afterwards, but capturing a fleeting half-smile or a mischievous look that is lost in an instant is crucial. This one took quite a while since it was supposed to be a mock fashion shoot for the glasses he's wearing. Using a professional model is highly recommended for that kind of thing, and Ľuboš works as a front-end developer by day and as an AI artist by night. ✨ 🧚

Photographing empty packaging made for different brands together isn't easy, you might think. But it's actually a piece of cake... if that cake was made out of packing peanuts! ;)
With a little bit of creativity and a lot of patience, using colourful custom-made backgrounds and props with professional lighting, these well-made paper objects by take on a slightly sculptural and playful feel. Who knew paper could be so much fun?

When taking someone’s portrait, the most rewarding thing is, if they like it so much they use it everywhere.😊️ No wonder, Milota, an author in the service of more inclusive cities, came to the studio with a fab selection of dresses and a great attitude to enjoy the experience. ✨
