The exhibition, presented in Bratislava in 2025, brings together artists of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds, offering a diverse panorama of perspectives on humanity through photographic portraiture. Each artist contributes a distinct way of seeing, sensing, and portraying people and their relationship to the world.
Curated and organized by Sonia Siblik, the exhibition highlights the richness of contemporary photographic voices in an international context.
My contribution to the exhibition presents a series of five portraits of women from different ages, cultures, and life paths. Each portrait embodies a unique form of strength — through delicacy or direct presence, through a smile or through silence. Power is not defined in a single way, but revealed as a spectrum of expressions that coexist and reinforce one another.
The series speaks through gaze, gesture, light, and texture. Color and black and white serve a narrative purpose, while individually developed lighting emphasizes each woman’s specific energy. Printed as fine art works, the images invite slow, attentive viewing and reveal an almost tactile presence.
Together, the portraits offer a sensitive and respectful reflection on female beauty in all its facets — strength and softness, vulnerability and determination, intimacy and presence.
