HOME // this has been an evolving concept in my life. I wrestle with visions of “home” being a perfectly styled place where each thing has its place in a wicker basket, nothing is on the floor but a woven rug that perfectly ties the plants and abstract art together, and candles are constantly burning, completing the ambiance. I’ve had to radically change that during this time where everything, including myself, feels displaced. There’s plants in cups in my bathroom to foster an indoor garden, drawers are always open, dishes are everywhere, chairs are left out, books are open, bikes are in the art room, and the dining table is in the living room. I’ve fought to make this space “home” by making it into the vision of “pretty” that I always envisioned ... but I’m learning that this displaced and chaotic home is one that is lived in and loved. It’s one that tells stories and makes memories. I’d love to hear and see your pictures of how you see “home”! Let’s go and
