I continue my product photography adventures. This time I picked Body Shop —

Challenges I faced:
1) it’s very difficult to find banana leaves. In the frame some other plant that looks like banana.

2) even though the bottle is not really glossy because of the shower gel texture, the bottle still reflects entire room and objects next to it, especially neck, so I had to use flags).

3) bananas become brown very fast. In order they look decent I had to keep stem covered with plastic wrap till the very time of shooting.
4) shooting yellow on yellow was a challenge, my camera couldn’t decide how yellow was the yellow.

5) combining glossy objects (bottle and trolley) and non~ (bananas and leaf) changes the entire approach to lighting. If I only shot bananas I’d use completely different setup. Here the bottle was the first priority so lighting was set up to reveal shape and feel of the object.
