The Caribbean Flamingos are the brightest coloured in the flamingo family. Caught 3 of them honking away at that lone flamingo. Wonder what it did to incur their wrath.

Red bellied tamarins inhabit the Amazonian rainforests. Here, they are trying to get fruits out of the barrel as part of the zoo's enrichment program to ensure that they are adequately stimulated as when they were in the wild.

The Sumatran orang utan is critically endangered with an estimated population of 7,300. As the Singapore Zoo's flagship species, the orang utan exhibit is one of the biggest in the zoo. A total of 37 orang utans have been bred, and some have been sent to zoos in Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, Vietnam, Japan, Australia and New Zealand as part of a worldwide exchange programme to facilitate the breeding of these highly endangered apes.

The Tanjong Pagar Railway station ceased services from 1 July 2011. To allow the public to visit the historical monument for strolls, take photos or to partake in its history, it is open to public on Public Holidays, starting from 20 February 2015, from 9am to 6pm. The next time it opens will be on National Day, 9 August 2015.
