What is up! I am finally back with a new post! Been a while and for those that thought this account is dead, well it’s not! ⁣
⁣
Finally able to edit the photos I took last weekend with the new Samyang 35MM FE F1.8 lens! I had the 45MM one from them for quite a while now and when reached out to let me test this,Of course I wouldn’t say no 😂. So yeap! Went on a solo shoot because my usual friends weren’t available and regretted not bringing my tripod out 😭. The first shot was on my bag and angled with my wallet. Amazing lengths we go to achieve shots. ⁣

But overall, this place was amazing and definitely will head back with my friends once again! Feels good to edit such amazing photos and not be bogged down by the idea that I need to churn one out every day! Shall see if this works moving forward! Heyooo! For those of you who are actively checking out my post, first of all, thank you 🙏🏽. I hope I am able to inspire you with my edits or just spice up your insta scroll with my shots! ⁣

So it’s been a while or months since I started this post 1 photo a day challenge for myself. Came a long way and now I am sort of in a weird place 😂. I still want to push out the daily post but really running out of photos to edit on my side haha! So moving forward, even tho editing other creator’s photos is good to practice, I’ll probably be posting them on my story or highlights! No more 1 day post daily anymore! Really want to keep the quality of my photos here up there! ⁣

NEW LENS! I’m kidding, I was lucky enough to get to use the new Samyang AF35mm F/1.8 FE lens that was released recently! Wanted to test it out while going on the normal weekend sunset chase. But today, wasn’t really our day because it was kind of gloomy as usual! Well, hopefully I get more chances to shoot with this one next week! 👍🏽. ⁣

Super light lens as well and amazing feature of being able to focus pull as well as tweak the aperture all from the ring on the lens! I do own the 45mm Samyang lens my own and this feature is something new! Gonna test it out more! ⁣

Spent the whole afternoon tweaking the website with my friend here and hopefully it does look better 🙏🏽. ⁣

Just watched the Netflix original documentary “The social dilemma” and wow.... I feel like even though we do know that we are being watched, being tracked and all that, we still willingly allow that to happen. Because at the end of the day, sometimes your lives might revolve around it or depend on it. The pros of using it is more existential then the threats because you see it more. The likes, the fame the comments. But maybe that’s how they get to you. ⁣
⁣
Honestly after watching it, I feel like after a few weeks, everyone would still continue as per normal. Sure we now know what they are using us for but because like what the documentary mentioned about threats, we don’t feel it. Maybe that’s why we don’t think its important. ⁣

Oh mannnn, my favourite thing that I have to have beside me everyday. Coffee. 😍. Can’t live without it. Maybe a bad thing cause I might have an addiction but a day without it is weird and I get super lethargic really quickly. Been drinking more pourover coffee lately tho much more than espressos. Altho I do wish that one day I can get an espresso machine but I guess that can wait. For now, lets stick with the easy ones. Also, always wondered that if coffee taste so good everyday, what if we drank it in the middle of nowhere and it was freezing cold 🤔. Oh mannnnn 😍.⁣

Yeap! Just some things about me! This is my post for today! Double posting since I missed the post yesterday! 🤪💪🏽💪🏽. Gotta force myself to stay consistent. Anyway, been super fun at my job lately, mainly because I am learning quite some stuff from the pros there. The process of improving really feels good. Really grateful to feedback and all that because now I know what I suck at 😂. Let’s hope I learn more! ⁣

FIRST of all! These photos are not mine! Been a while since I went out to shoot so don’t really have much photos to edit! Always wanted to edit underwater shots and recently I am getting super into documentaries on Netflix. Actually I am more impressed by how they shot the entire thing. Pretty crazy. But yes. I would love to try out taking videos and photos underwater if I had the chance! Till then, I shall live it through these photos. ⁣

Was able to get back into water for a brief moment during a shoot recently tho during my job and man, do I miss being in water 😂. Spoke with a few friends about free diving and not gonna lie, did make me want to try pushing myself 🤪. But oh well! Hopefully in future 🙏🏽.⁣

Oh and I did miss a post yesterday but don’t worry! I’ll be double posting today to make up for it! Can’t lose the streak here! Gotta keep going 💪🏽. ⁣

Finally able to have a shot of myself on this feed! Been staying up super late recently! Not sure if its because of my lack or efficiency of hard work 😂. Surely hope its hard work tho. But yeap! What you see in these pictures are what I have been revolving around these few days! My super big and comfy pullover, a messy af table and my feet warmer husky, Solo (kidding he is a great companion). ⁣

Recently got my tripod after so long 😂. Which is the reason why I am able to take this shot of myself while I was working. Swear to god it wasn’t me faking it 😀. But yeap! Currently revising a video for the company’s YT. Really stoked to see how this is gonna turn out! Will update you guys once it’s up! ⁣

Another day of running out of content/photos of my own to post 😂. Jokes aside, never really been to a desert before and always had this mindset that there really isn’t much there to take/see. But nowadays, the minimal shots you can take there really makes me want to visit one soon. Can’t wait to get there! ⁣

Done my first draft of the video up for the company I work with and wow, loads to improve man. Hopefully I get to do more video shoots so I can try out stuff as well! Really want to get better 🔥🔥. Let’s aim to achieve a video that I would be proud of after the first edit. 💪🏽💪🏽.⁣

Recently because of a shoot, I was able to go back into the water again. Been awhile honestly and it did made me realise how much I miss being in water. Never was like that but I think because of the past 2 years of constantly being in water, it did made me crave it more or miss it more. ⁣

And because of that, it did spark me to think that I really wanted to try or learn how to surf. Heard that it was super hard to pick up but the idea of flowing with the water and catching the waves really gets me. Hopefully one day I can try it! ⁣

Okay! Another post that uses photos that are found online! Decided that even though I was gonna use this to help me have photos to post more often, I should still give the images a reason to be posted. This one is no different.⁣

As I was browsing through the photos that were non-exclusive online, a thought went through my head to instead of posting something that was just ‘pleasing’ to the eyes, I decided why not post photos that were not yet taken by me but I wish to in the future? Shots that I can for-see myself walking through a forest with a camera, a backpack, and boots just snapping away at the creatures I past. A peaceful evening that ended with these shots if I were at the place I can craft in my mind. ⁣

I can only dream of myself doing that but it does keep me alive to think that there are such shots available. Can’t wait to actually get these shots. 💪🏽⁣

Okay, I almost never post photos that are this dark on my feed or even photos that are taken nearing night time so to speak. But today was insane when I saw this view. It’s really rare to see such sunsets but today was different. Today the world presented me with this. I challenged my camera to shoot as high of the ISO as possible without destroying the image and this shots are what I came out with. The waves were so calm and the sea breeze makes me want to stay longer. Had to edit it instantly when I got back. ⁣
⁣
Anyway, feel like lately I am sort of losing the reason to post everyday on my feed. Really trying to relook at how or why I want to post a certain post. I feel like there is no point in me putting out 1 shot of a day anymore because it doesn’t tell a story. Some of you might not even read the captions I write. So Gotta focus more on the flow of the pictures that creates a certain image/story in your mind.⁣

Gonna keep this up if I can! 💪🏽. Totally burnt out this week cause of so much things on hand besides work. Gotta need a decent sleep soon! Heading to bed as I type this. Goodnight world.⁣
