• 📝 Remarks: Blue skies and fluffy white clouds, the usual combination for what we call a good day out here at the little red dot for photography with the beautiful sun shining overhead. With the afternoon wearing on and the beach filled with a number of people, the sound of the waves crashing on the beach and the tranquility of the location was soon disturbed by the roars of incoming jets as they all looked to complete their hops from the respective origins across the world. With a slight increase of flights on schedule for the World’s Best Airport, it was a welcome to see more and more aircraft gracing our skies above as they conducted their final approach. Leading the arrival queue in the afternoon, a Baeliner of American descent flexed her wings as she conducted her finals towards the active runway, showing off her stunning new corporate colours as they added contrast and colour to the already beautiful day. The tones of blue coupled with the contrasty lines on her fuselage, she sure stole the limelight for the day as she painted the skies with the now famous United Evo blue livery. What a sight!! So beautiful!!!

• 📝 Remarks: With the afternoon sun shining brightly over the little red dot, the smaller of 2 airports here remained quiet as time passed with close to no activity on the ground or in the air. As everyone eagerly awaited for the star of what was one of the quieter air shows here to take her leave, the clouds and weather moved into position providing a beautiful backdrop for what was about to depart. As time passed, the faint roars of a pair of Pratt & Whitney engines soon ringed through the air as it indicated that the TechLion was about to take her leave. As she began her somewhat long taxi down the active runway for her departure, she showed off her stunning livery as she promoted Embraer’s newest and biggest commercial jet. Upon clearance, she powered up and flexed her newly designed raked wing tips for the open skies as she began her journey to the Land of Smiles as part of her tour of the region before she headed home to Brazil. What a stunning sight!!!

• 📝 Remarks: With the sun shining brightly over the World’s Best Airport and the clouds adding to the dynamics of the afternoon skies, the tranquility and quietness of the afternoon was a welcome to many as the beautiful day wore on. At the World’s Best Airport, the COVID-19 pandemic has had major effects to its operations as aircraft from the national carrier remained grounded and the part of the airport remained closed with little to no passenger traffic. However, the cargo operations seem to now dominate proceedings as multiple airlines fly empty passenger jets with cargo onboard connecting cities with important cargo. As the afternoon wore on, the peace and tranquillity was soon disturbed by the soft roars of a pair of jet engines that powered the famous T7. As the T7 edge slowly into the apron towards her assigned gate, the rays of sunlight bestowed upon her shiny and magnificent fuselage as the famous Oryx stood out in the middle of the apron. What a stunning sight!!

• 📝 Remarks: 100 years ago, a company called Queensland and Northern Territory Air Service, or what we now know as Qantas Airways, inaugurated their service the Australian way. Over these 100 years much has changed for the airline as they go from strength to strength even despite the latest challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic as the growth of their carrier showed why they have been around for so long. As the World’s Third oldest carrier, Qantas has cemented it position as one of the leading airlines in the world with record breaking flights and new products to attract customers from all over as they continue to bring out the Spirit of Australia. From the humble days till now, Qantas is a well known name across the world with their famous Australian service and connectivity across the world with routes like the famous Kangaroo Route linking the Harbor City to the Big Smoke CI the Little Red Dot, which give customers options for travel and connectivity. As they hit the centurion, let us congratulate Qantas on their achievement over the years and congratulations on 100 successful years of operations and here’s to more!! Happy 100th Qantas!!

• 📝 Remarks: With the afternoon sun shining brightly over the little red dot and the skies above clear and filled with some clouds, the perfect afternoon conditions was coupled with the usual roars of jet engines as the afternoon peak period of arrivals remained in full swing at the World’s Best Airport. With aircraft after aircraft taking turns to land and grace the blistering hot runway that lined the airport, it was like clockwork to see an aircraft on finals every 90 seconds with a snaking queue slowly forming in the air. Leading the way this afternoon, a triple three, who’s time remaining with the SilverKris is uncertain, flexed her wings for the runway as she looked to complete yet another regional hop. As she gracefully conducted her finals to the active runway, the rays of sunlight bestowed upon her shiny fuselage, making her stand out in the skies with her traditional livery and the famous SilverKris on her tail. Soon to be a history with the airline, the Triple Threes sure served us well regionally and are now being replaced by the more efficient raccoons and Baeliners we see on a daily basis. What a sight of the Triple Three! Stunning!!

• 📝 Remarks: One leaves, the other arrives, just like clockwork. With the Lion City cemented as one of the aviation hubs of the world, it is no stranger to see airlines from the world arrive at the World’s Best Airport for a multitude of reasons from scheduled flights to repositioning flights for MRO. These gave an opportunity for the World’s Best Airport to welcome airlines rarely seen in this part of the world, making the airport one of the most diverse in the region. With a strong MRO center here, companies like SIA Engineering Company and ST Aerospace welcome carriers from afar for maintenance work as they expand their business world wide. One of the regular customers for the latter has always been the Canadian Flag carrier, Air Canada. Flying the flag from the Great White North, the T7, leading the morning queue of arrivals, flexed her wings for the active runway as she looked to complete her repositioning flight from the Land of the Rising Sun after completing her latest revenue flight. As she conducted her finals to the active runway, the rays of morning sun bestowed upon her contrasts fuselage as her unique livery painted the skies with some contrast. Dubbed the masked bandit, she sure looks amazing under the beautiful skies above as she arrived. What a stunning sight!!

• 📝 Remarks: Waking up to the view of the World’s Best Airport sure is a welcome to any avgeek around the world. A night at the World’s Best Airport Hotel is just a factor to waking with the best view here at the Little Red Dot. With the morning sun now shining brightly, the operations at the World’s Best Airport began to peak at its highest with the morning peak period entering its full swing as flights across the world begin to arrive while flights to the rest of the world began to depart. With the inter connectivity of the airport to the rest of the world, this tiny island nation is no stranger to having multiple airlines from across the world that grace our skies above. As the morning wore on, the arrivals continued to flow in steadily with a raccoon soon appearing in the distance leading the snaking queue in the skies above. Arriving from the Fresh Prince of Persia, the raccoon of middle eastern descent announced her arrival as she graced the blistering hot runway that lined the airport, roaring her way as she decelerated on the runway after a long hop. As she continued to slow down on the runway, the rays of sunlight bestowed upon her stunning shiny fuselage as her livery painted her surroundings with some colour and contrast, making her stand out in the morning. What a stunning sight!!

• 📝 Remarks: A rare time where the sun shines brightly over the little red dot, coupled with the beautiful clear blue skies above us, making it an amazing day as we edged closer to the evening. With most of the day over and the evening just round the corner, one would think that everyone would be heading home for a rest, but not here at the World’s Best Airport, as it only kicked off yet another hectic period of operations as the evening peak period went into full swing with departure and arrivals happening every 90 seconds. With the departure queue snaking on the taxiways of the airport, it was not stranger to see the SilverKris dominating most of the operations as the national carrier saw their regional flights kicking off with yet another batch of departures. Leading the way this beautiful evening, the albino T7 captured the attention of many as the roars of her pair of General Electrics GE90-115B1 engines ringed through the air powering her into the open skies. Flexing her wings for the Chinese Financial Capital, the albino T7 painted the skies with her white livery, adding contrast while her famous star on her tail “shine” brightly. What a rare sight to have such wonderful weather and a majestic aircraft as the subject!! Stunning!!

• 📝 Remarks: With the sun shining over the little red dot on this beautiful day, the world’s best airport welcome people with open arms as the airport was packed with flights arriving and departing every 90 seconds. As the regional flights dominated the operations here at the airport, one of the most served routes is packed with flights to and fro through out the whole day with multiple airlines fighting for the pax loads that would benefit them in many ways. From full service airlines to budget carriers, the operations between the Lion City and Garden City with Lights was at its highest with the recent introduction of widebody service by lost cost carrier, AirAsia X. Arriving on this beautiful morning after a short hop, the triple three flexed her wings for the active runway showing off her stunning and unique livery as she painted the skies with colours and contrast. A sight to behold with her special livery, she stands out in the skies above us! What a sight!! A pity now that COVID-19 has crippled much of air travel, we may never see these jets in our skies again. Definitely a sight to be missed!

• 📝 Remarks: As the afternoon wears on here at the Land of Smiles, the sun shines brightly over ahead as the country’s busiest airport continues to see flights arriving and departing every few minutes. With a steady flow of arriving traffic, a queue began to form in the skies as aircraft after aircraft lined up behind as they conducted their finals one by one, making her one of the busier airports in the region with multiple flights connecting the capital to the rest of the world. Leading the snaking queue of arrivals this afternoon, was a T7 as she look to complete her hop from Asia’s World City with the holidays in full swing, travelers looked to explore the Land Of Smiles that was full of culture and heritage. As she conducted her finals to the active runway, the rays of sunlight bestowed upon her unique livery as she painted the faint blue skies with some colour and contrast making her stand out as the star of the afternoon so far. The Spirit of Hong Kong as they call her, incomparable to her predecessor for the title, Hotel November Kilo sure has a less subtle touch of the livery as she showed it off here on this beautiful afternoon. I sure do miss the old Spirit of Hong Kong!
