Whilst personal branding is really rewarding due to the journey my clients and I go on I do really love pushing the boundaries in headshots.

I’ve done a lot more headshots this year and it’s been great.

These headshots of a husband and wife were captured in their home with my mobile pop up studio. It’s quick and convenient for you as the client, but delivers studio level quality.

As if you are a professional looking to grow your personal branding, and be seen as a leader in your field ask yourself when was the last time you had your headshot updated?

There are many barriers to being visible.

And I believe all can be overcome.

Many are in our mind. This is where inner work does its magic.

Others are skin deep.

I believe that as women, and as men, we have the choice to embrace our looks or take steps to make improvements as we see fit.

Years of living in hot climbs, lead to a lot of superficial skin damage. Throw in some formal spot scars and I felt my skin could do better and with a little love (and expertise) could get it shining!

Step in who have guided, advised and treated my skin over the last year. Tomorrow I am back for the final of this session of lasers. I am having the Picoplus which really targets pigmentation and encourages collagen production. Brighter firmer skin!

Summer’s on the horizon, and I know this season well.

Some business owners switch off completely.
Others stay half-available, still posting and checking in so nothing drops.

I’ve been in both camps.
This year, I’m choosing the middle ground.

Ordered my first hearing aid today 👂
 I’ve been told I’m too loud my whole life— Turns out I was just a bit deaf. So... now I have a legit excuse 😅

Not gonna lie, I felt a bit sad.

But mostly, I’m proud I did it.

It’s been a little too long coming. I had great support from my friend and ENT surgeon .rebecca.heywood (hearing loss in midlife can have serious consequences later so take this as a sign to get yours checked).

I want to really hear the people I work with. Not just words, but everything in between. And I’ve been missing things and pretending I haven’t.

Also: Normalising small grief moments when our bodies change. You’re allowed to feel a bit weird and still do what’s best for you.

So I’ll continue laughing at my legitimised loudness…but maybe I’ll be a little quieter going forward.

A client of mine — a passionate, heart-led coach — started out unsure about personal branding photos for her business.
