This portrait challenge was a great way to dust off the cobwebs after what has been a very strange year. Being voted as the winning entry was definitely an added bonus!

Long overdue but decided to dust off the gear and fire up another Masters of Photography portrait challenge. As with all of these challenges, the goal was to emulate the style of the artist in question. On this occasion, it was DJ turned portrait/fashion photographer, Kid Circus.

As a result of the recent social distancing, the opportunity to get a human being in front of a camera has been very limited. Peter Hurley and the team over at Headshot Crew have been mixing things up a little and playing with the theme of the “Headshot of the Week” contest.
For the week in question, the theme was Architecture, a subject that I am extremely passionate about. To add to the excitement/pressure, legendary architectural photographer Mike Kelley was invited to be the guest judge.
I was blown away by the initial review/feedback, honoured when the image was shortlisted and humbled when it was voted as the winning shot for “Headshot of the Week (Architecture)”.
