Right from our first conversation with David and Helen, we could already feel the excitement building towards their home wedding! Not the loud, over-the-top kind, but the quiet kind that comes from knowing you are about to celebrate something deeply meaningful with the people you love most.

When we arrived in the late afternoon, little Felix had just woken up from his nap, still carrying that sleepy toddler sweetness. It was heartwarming watching him take in the sight of his mum and dad all dressed up, surrounded by familiar faces filling the home with laughter and anticipation for the day ahead.

The whole celebration felt incredibly relaxed and intimate. No rushing from place to place, no pressure to perform, just everyone fully present, soaking in the significance of the moment together.

At one point, while admiring a drawing of a fire truck framed on the wall, Helen shared that it was sketched by her little niece, inspired by her time serving in the fire brigade back in the UK. It was such a small but meaningful detail that quietly tells the story of a life, relationships, and memories built across different seasons and places.

Beyond the outfits and celebrations, there was the feeling of home - welcoming, genuine and filled with the people who mattered most. ❤️

That night felt like I was shooting two weddings at once… but not quite 😂

Separated only by a bar counter walkway, Yen and Liyan’s celebration naturally unfolded into two worlds — one side filled mostly with family, the other with friends. Moving between the two felt like slipping between different rhythms of the same heartbeat. On one side, it was loud, unrestrained, and bursting with energy; on the other, quieter, more intimate, with conversations that lingered a little longer.

It wasn’t something they planned, but something they welcomed and in that, it became uniquely theirs. A beautiful balance of both worlds, held together by the same joy and love.

After their wedding dinner at Minjiang, they carried the party over to Jiuzhuang and that’s when everything let loose in the best way.

Laughter grew louder, conversations spilled over one another, and the karaoke never really stopped. Each song was more spirited than the last (The Fate of Ophelia became an ear bug 🫣) while glasses never stayed full for long!

It wasn’t polished or planned, just wonderfully alive. The kind of night where time slips by unnoticed, where voices turn hoarse and hearts feel full. It was unhurried, a little wild, a little messy, and completely theirs. It was the perfect way to close a day that meant so much. The night ended the way the best nights do, filled with moments no one was quite ready to let go of! ❤️

Darren and Faith — two young hearts, bright eyes, and a love woven quietly into the everyday.

Getting to know them before their big day during their pre wedding session only confirmed what their smiles already gave away — beneath the warmth and laughter, they are steadfast, tender, and so beautifully rooted in each other.

It won’t be any single moment that holds them together, but the hundreds of small, ordinary ones. These are the threads — gentle, unassuming, and unbreakable — that will bind their two hearts for a lifetime.

Wishing Darren and Faith a lifetime of beautiful threads. ❤️🧡💛

Children don’t grow up all at once. It happens quietly, almost without asking permission. One day you look up and realize your little one is no longer so little. Not long ago, our bigger little one rested against us in a backpack carrier on long hikes, her world moving at our pace. Now she walks those same paths on her own, reads her own books, and on our recent family trip, skis down slopes with a confidence that feels both proud and bittersweet to watch. And the list keeps growing.

In between these moments is the simple, sacred act of being together. Of choosing time over hurry, shared experiences over perfect plans. We move through places and seasons as a family, slowly building the foundation of who we are to one another. They may not remember every trail, every page, every slope—but they will remember the feeling of belonging. And perhaps that is what lasts: the quiet assurance that they were never alone, that love was always there, walking just a few steps behind.

Here are some snippets from Felix’s ❤️

A wedding day does not always need to begin with a checklist.

For Rui Ting and Jim, the morning unfolded gently — unhurried and unforced. There was space to breathe, to linger, to be fully present with the people who mattered most. It felt like a usual tender family morning, except this one carried a quiet anticipation in the air.

With time on our side, we wandered through the neighbourhood before heading to church. Rui Ting mentioned a small bamboo patch nearby, and we followed her there. As the bamboo swayed softly in the breeze, everything seemed to slow. The calm was unspoken but felt — the kind that settles deep within you. And true to who they are, the stillness soon gave way to laughter and easy chatter 🤭.

It was a gentle reminder that meaning isn’t found in how much you accomplish in a day, but in how deeply you allow yourself to feel it. And it is always a privilege to stand quietly at the edges — witnessing not just a marriage, but a family honouring the love that brought them here.

When Mira and Peter first wrote to us, we felt an instant spark of familiarity. A shared love for mountains, slow mornings over coffee, and that quiet, grounding feeling of home — it was as if our paths had been gently aligned long before we ever met 🤭

On the day they were officially hitched, they chose Raffles Hotel as the setting to honour a chapter that meant so much to them. Singapore had been home, a place of memories and milestones, before they set their sights on the next adventure awaiting them. What followed was a session filled with easy laughter, unhurried moments, and stories woven between glances and smiles.

And then there was little Nicolas 👶🏻 — curious, sweet, and utterly irresistible — a gentle reminder that this wasn’t just a celebration of a two, but of a family growing, carrying pieces of every place and all experiences they’ve loved with them into whatever comes next.

Life has a beautiful way of weaving things together, often with outcomes better than we could imagine. Despite growing up in the same neighbourhood and crossing paths so often, they never truly met—yet Kian Chew had always known Esther’s brother. In the end, fate gently led their story back to where it all began.

Sharing a love for riding, there was no better way to cap off their celebration than with a short session on their beloved ride. And yes—I may have been nudging them just a little to sign up for their 2A lessons 🤭.

Is it strange to feel a tinge of envy when I see fathers who are so open, calm and joyfully present on their daughter’s wedding day? There’s a gentle tenderness in their energy that makes you think — Wow, it must have been such a warm and loving home to grow up in ❤️ You can almost feel the depth of those family bonds just by being around them.

I told Kimberly how I hope I’ll one day share that same kind of connection with my girls — and her reply really hit me. She said, “The fact that you’re already holding her in your heart is so precious and promising. I just hope she’ll stay open to receiving your love for a long time to come.”

Those words struck several chords within me and are a gentle reminder to me to embody these and not just dream about them.

And for now, time to bring my small humans to the park (before they launch a coup) 🤭🌳

There’s something deeply special about reconnecting with our past couples and celebrating their new chapter as parents. Especially so for Asher and Hui Min who resides overseas and are back for a short holiday.

We spent a gentle morning soaking up some vitamin D as little S explored the world with wonder.

Life with kids is beautifully unpredictable, and while it’s not always easy, it’s definitely full of heart. We learn to slow down, to be present, and to find joy in the everyday — because this season, fleeting as it is, is the foundation of who we’re growing into, together. ❤️

What a wonderful morning stroll around the Padang with Darren and Faith! One that is filled with lots of chatter and giggles 🙃

These two spirited and down to earth school mates complement each other perfectly - her bold imagination steadied by his calm resolve, and her cautious heart softened by his unwavering belief in them.

And now…

Here they are, this is what home means to them. (IYKYK 🤭) Ready to face the world together!

*On a side note, Happy Birthday Singapore! 🇸🇬
