AI is amazing.

That’s probably how I would sum up my thoughts after ‘s 1.5 day AI Photography workshop. There were so many instances during the workshop that convinced me it’s a force one should definitely learn to work with instead of fight against. This quantum leap in technology is probably akin to or even bigger than the switch from analogue to digital photography. We must embrace it or risk being irrelevant as photographers eventually.

Here’s an example of what we accomplished in a short 1.5 day of learning:

Frame 1 : A demo of a Korean style MV, entirely created from just a still image. Music and lyrics were also invented by AI.

Frame 2 : Said still image - generated by blending an AI background and a digitally shot model

Frame 3 : BTS of me shooting the model

Frame 4/5 : Close up of the blended image

Back in June last year, we were commissioned by to capture a series of employee in-action portraits for their upcoming HR recruitment drive. This project was easily the most fun I’ve had that year as we trawl through 3 parks to find the most photogenic backdrops to showcase their talents in the best light.

Mega thanks to and the Mandai HR team for the trust and autonomy, as well as the fun and laughter we had during the shoot. Big appreciations to & for the superb assist too.

Accompanying images to the KV for a SMF campaign shot in 2024! Took a while for these set of images to come out. Using a mix of stock photo backgrounds and portraits shot in studio, we managed to recreate these live scenarios. Thanks to .sg for trusting us with this campaign shoot!
