White-throated Kingfisher is one of local kingfisher bird in Singapore. To shoot this bird and to get tack sharp, you don't need high speed, but you need to observe its movement, when it still for a while, you take a snap.
For this shot, I use f4, speed 500 and ISO 100 and lucky enough to get clear background.
