Better get the usage of these 3 commonly used words correct. It is appalling how often these 3 words are misused in writing even among Secondary school students and adults.

"Their" is a possessive pronoun like "your", "my", etc

"There" is an adverb, referring to a location. The word can also be a noun, directing attention to something.

"They're" is a shortened form of "They are"
