Who doesn’t like Thresher Sharks? 🦈 they’re wonderful creatures to observe swimming when underwater, watching their caudal fin swinging at every turn is just amazing. And I didn’t expect then to be that big, they’re easily 2.5/3 meters plus the tail which is as long as the body itself.

This is a bit of all my passions in one photo, the universe, the ocean, a beautiful coastline with a pool called the Devil’s Tear, at bottom left you can see lights in the water and those are divers doing a night dive which is another of my great passions, what else to add to this? I think it’s more than enough to make it the perfect shot.
I hope in this 2023 I’ll the camera with me a bit more often than I did this last few years, Covid has shifted my interest a bit cause I have been stuck in Singapore for 2.5 years without traveling but 2022 has been a great year when I started exploring again, I just put photography on a secondary level and trying to enjoy more the experience of traveling rather then focus everything on the perfect shot.

Iceland landscape is characterised by thousands waterfalls but Haifoss is kinda magic, the view from above the canyon is simply breathtaking and the sound of the water flowing makes every noise disappear, like nature is asking you to focus on that and forget about everything else around!

Another spectacular place to see an arctic sunset is of course the comfort of a cottage in the countryside with an incredible landscape lighten up by the golden light of the setting sun.

The hot springs surrounding the Strokkur Geyser are insanely beautiful!!!
Water is very near to boiling temperature and creates different colours around the pool.

Today we travel to one of the most fascinating sites of the entire world, Geysir is so famous that every geyser is named after it.
Why is this more famous than the rest? Because it discharges water up in the air regularly every 5 to 10 minutes, how high the water goes? If you zoom you can see people on the right side of the picture for comparison.

First time seeing northern lights after few years and still feels like the first time, the activity wasn’t too much but it was on a beautiful clear sky night.
