I absolutely love this photo of J, though it was taken about a decade ago and I think I made some questionable exposure decisions. 😅

I find some spots, like freckles & bokeh, really pretty 😍 Also this spot at the Singapore botanic gardens in front of the Tyersall Gate waterfall. 😬

2024 edit of 2014 photo: pulled down some overexposed bits and cleaned up some bokeh-less pockets I missed the first time round.

I barely know anything about actual octopuses. 😅 They seem really smart & cool though! 🥰 What videos I have seen, show intelligent creatures capable of solving problems eg. opening a jar from the inside, escaping from unfamiliar humans by squeezing through teeny tiny gaps in ships you would assume that couldn’t possibly squeeze through.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE (not vetted by Doctors Siy or Lin!):

In 2023, I was diagnosed with and started treatment for endometriosis. I’m very grateful for the support, care, concern & understanding of my partner , family, friends, clients and of course the wonderful medical staff 🥰

Yes, I know this isn’t a particularly “polite” or “professional” topic, and there are reasonable privacy concerns. Even so, I think sharing (verified) information about health issues is important. I wish I knew about this condition earlier so I could have done things differently.

Don’t be like me - I didn’t know about endometriosis and cared too much about what others might think. I was afraid that some people would think me weak for not tolerating “normal“ period cramps. Therefore, I took (increasing amounts of) panadol and largely accepted that I unluckily had more painful cramps than others and/or that I was getting old. Last year, my cumulative period side-effects got so serious I ended up spending a week in hospital. On the day I was admitted to A&E, I had a fever, chills, shivering, lower/mid back pain, nausea, fatigue, cramps, abdominal bloating and distension. Turns out that I had an upper urinary tract infection and an endometriosis-related abscess causing complications in my urinary tract. The abscess and other endo adhesions were verified months later via MRI and surgery.

Rating: ★✩✩✩✩ Life Experience - I DO NOT RECOMMEND discovering you have endometriosis in this life-threatening way :P

Please refer to cited medical sources for biologically accurate diagrams and not my stylized art. 😅 Most edits were achieved on the photo of the vase with content aware fill, compositing, puppet warp and liquify. I used ’s AI to quickly replace chunks of glass for a cleaner look and firefly to generate the base glass title text.

Better Together. (Which also just happens to be a meaningful annual event by Design for Change Singapore / www.DFCSingapore.com! 😁)

DFC is a social enterprise that empowers children to use to solve real-world problems. Their amazing work over the last 10+ years, has inspired and influenced thousands of young (and not so young 😛) minds across our country #🇸🇬, proving that age is no barrier to positive change.

A long time ago in Nov 2023 😬, I ( ) had the privilege of shooting their annual showcase of student projects. From tackling bullying to helping migrant workers better avoid scams, these kids' projects helped make a difference in their communities and in . 💪

Not Gonna Lie, was a bit nervous (i.e. quardruple-checking shot list) about shooting a high-flier like of , and her family, back in 2019. Turns out, she’s so chill, doesn’t melt around her 🥶
Loved seeing how close-knit her family was and glad to have documented some personal time with her folks after getting some formal portraits!! Thanks for trusting me to do my thing Chih Ching!! :D
