An appreciation post for the crew behind and our partners at .id for a successful weekend in Jakarta celebrating the craft of photography!

Thank you to the crew being Hayomoto for hosting us and our partnering brands (makers of premium handheld fog machines) and (a brand known and trusted for lenses and lighting products).

We especially appreciate the thought and effort put in by and her team! Over 85 participants showed up and learnt how to improve their craft as we shared how PMI and Yongnuo products can help them for portrait, food and automobile photography. Special thank you to .sandiarini for guiding participants through food photography with smoke and lighting! Congratulations also to the prize winners Tika and Arief!

SINGAPORE - What a night! “Creatives’ Night: AI, What Now?” held at Alchemy Singapore saw 70+ participants in attendance to find out more about the impact of AI in the creative industry. This event was co-organised by both VICPA Singapore and DCPro with support from Practical Magic & Innovation, Yongnuo Photography, StillsTech and Stills Network.

The discussions were held in a safe space through a panel moderated by President of VICPA Singapore James Tan with Kelvin Lee (Founder, We Are Heroes), Jaze Phua (Co-Founder, Dear.AI) and Claudio Chock (Creative Director, Tristeps Studios) headlining the panel.

Participants shared their thoughts and concerns on how AI will affect their respective industries with them as the panelists provided great insights based on their own personal experiences with AI.

They also had opportunities to try out equipment for photography, videography, stage and entertainment etc. courtesy of PMI Gear and Yongnuo with support from our partner SLR Revolution.

SINGAPORE - Another successful event with our community! HANGOUTS is our concept to gather like-minded folks who wanna try something new with our equipment with our inhouse trainers.

We shared tips for lighting for product photography where participants were split into 3 groups of 6 to try 3 different setups - rain/smoke effects with a figurine, flash to light a chair and light painting of a helmet.

It was good to see participants enjoy trying products by Practical Magic & Innovation and Yongnuo Photography!

SINGAPORE - DCPro is proud to host the launch of SIGMA's products at the beautiful Artyzen Singapore Hotel which features the concrete skyline of Orchard Road and the luscious greenery of Bukit Timah as two juxtaposing backdrops.

Participants who attended the launch had a hands-on session with the all-new line-up of SIGMA products - the SIGMA BF, the CONTEMPORARY 16-300mm F3.5-6.7 DC OS lens and the 300-600mm F4 DG OS (SPORTS) lens.

With the breathtaking views as well as our beautiful model Phun , and with the expert guidance of Wesley Wong from Malaysia, and host Bobby Tonelli who himself is a tech reviewer and photographer, participants from all walks of life were able to capture stills that speak of beauty, moments and art.
