This little 4-year-old has always wanted to be a mermaid. 🧜‍♂️💙⁣

And I think there’s something incredibly beautiful about that.⁣
⁣
When you’re four, you don’t wonder if your dreams are silly, unusual, or what other people might think.⁣ You just know what makes your little heart happy.⁣
⁣
Perhaps somewhere along the way to becoming grown-ups, we lose a little bit of that courage.⁣
⁣
So for one magical afternoon in our Jellycat Ocean…⁣
⁣
he became the mermaid he always wanted to be⁣ and just like that, Petite b welcomes our very first little merman. ⁣
⁣
No big explanations. No overthinking.⁣
Just a little boy getting to live one of his little dreams.⁣
⁣
And perhaps that’s Uncle Ben’s little dream for Petite b too - to be a safe little space where childhood can simply be childhood. Where little dreams are welcomed, imaginations can run wild, and every child gets to be exactly who they want to be, even if just for one magical afternoon.
