Are some of the champion stalls which I tried during my lunch. 15 minutes away by bus from Bukit Batok MRT Station but you still need to walk a few blocks to reach so that means working out before eating loads..

Currently due to Covid19 only 2 diners per table. So Consider Dabaoing back home to eat.

As a mixed martial artist myself. I agree to some extent that learning Martial Arts equates to violence. However having said that there will be times when you know you have that edge over another because you know what damage you can deliver.

I have had encounters of such when my MMA Self takes over situations and I have to walk away because I know what I can do.

Because of this knowledge I have worries sending my kid to Judo, Karate etc classes. Reservations aside I do see the good in practising any Martial arts because the core of such is the focus. Delivering each move is calculated and focused.

Kids fight in school (unavoidable) and imagine if your kid knows moves and sends them the wrong way that's gonna be damaging...

Angelica Style (Dang Hui) Duck and Roasted Meats. Chicken and Duck Talk

located at 233 Bukit Batok East Ave 5, Block 233, Singapore 650233.

This is one of the Best Angelica (Dang Gui) Roasted Duck and Meats that I have tasted in the area. The Herb taste isn't as strong as I expected. My 2 young kids ate and enjoyed it immensely. My elderly mother who ate also commented that the taste is smooth and doesn't have an overpowering Herb taste nor smell. My mother rated it 10/10 as she is very particular on taste.

That said, the servings are adequate and portion is good. The roast Meats have a wonderful sweet aftertaste on the palate. 9/10 for the Char Siew. The Roast meat is 9.5/10 as the crisp nailed it totally. The lift fatty portions melts like M&M.

TASTY THAI Pork Trotters Kway Chup and Rice

Newly Opened stall at Kopitiam located at Blk 150 Bukit Batok Street 11 S650150.

First time trying a Thai Style Kway Chup Using Pork knuckle...I will rate it 8/10. Definitely I will go back again to try out the other side dishes as my first experience was beyond my expectations.

I went with very little expectations as I always had my Kway Chup with the regular servings of 3 Layer Pork meat, intestines etc. This experience totally took my Foodie experience to the next level. the Pork Skin was really Q Q, the Pork Trotters / Knuckles was soft and tender. Only part that didn't fit was the Salted Vegetable (Think Teochews do it better).

The gravy used was totally mind blowing in my opinion. Surely different from what I expected and regular taste.

Disclaimer: Go with an empty mind and no expectations try it and you will probably want to go back for more. In any food recommendations always go with a blank piece of paper, allow yourself to experience without expectations
