some support for employees and freelancers experiencing income difficulties : The SIRS scheme previously under purview of MOM and administered by NTUC, ends this year. Singapore has reached a key milestone and we will be moving into Phase 3 of re-opening from 28 Dec, with the following changes:
- Social gathering size will increase to up to 8 persons
- Attractions may apply to operate at a capacity of up to 65%
- Capacity limit for malls will increase to 8 square metres per person
- Selected indoor and outdoor live performance pilots can have up to 250 persons, with up to 50 persons per zone

We will also continue to pilot activities and settings such as live performances in outdoor venues, karaoke and nightlife, which will allow us to assess how they can take place and scale up safely.

Let’s continue to stay vigilant and practise safe management measures to emerge stronger from COVID-19.
