From the quiet hollow of the tree, a small voice calls out—soft, eager, full of trust.
She arrives without announcement, a flash of green against the stillness, carrying a berry with care. No rush, no noise—just a gentle presence. The juvenile reaches forward, and in that tender exchange, nourishment becomes something more… warmth, comfort, and reassurance.

A mother’s love isn’t loud. It’s in the returning, the providing, the constant watch from just beyond sight.

To all mothers—your quiet strength and endless giving never go unnoticed.
Happy Mother’s Day.

Sharing some footage on camera — a nesting site of a coppersmith barbet

Watching this little bird in action, carefully tending to its nest, is a reminder of how much life is happening quietly all around us. From chiseling out its tree cavity to popping in and out with food, every moment felt like a glimpse into a hidden world.

Nature doesn’t need to be far away or dramatic to be fascinating — sometimes it’s right above our heads, if we just slow down enough to notice.

Sharing this footage for anyone who appreciates these small but incredible moments. 🌿

Perched at the edge of the hollow, the juvenile peeked out, its tiny chest fluttering faster than the breeze that swayed the branches. Below, a quiet army of lenses glimmered in the sun—watching, waiting, inching closer.

“Stay away from us… we need privacy!” the little one chirped, its voice sharper than it had ever dared before.

The leaves rustled as if agreeing. The tree stood firm, a silent guardian. Inside the nest, soft movements—warmth, safety, home.

The juvenile wasn’t just speaking for itself. It was guarding stories still unfolding—first flights not yet taken, meals still shared beak-to-beak, and the quiet language of family that needed no audience.

Above the murmurs of shutters and whispers, the wind carried its message far and clear:

Some moments in nature are not meant to be captured—only respected.

"GRAB DELIVERY"

The parent bird landed on the branch, holding a bunch of berries.

“Delivery,” it said, slightly out of breath.

The chick popped its head out of the tree hole. “That took forever.”

“I flew across half the park,” the parent replied. “Be grateful.”

The chick squinted. “Wait… these are green berries. I want RED berries”

“Green berries were in stock. Red were not,” the parent said.

"Errrrr"

Chasing wings, capturing freedom—this is where I find my quiet.
Out in nature, time slows, and every movement begins to matter. I wait, I watch, I listen… until that fleeting moment appears.

A bird in action, effortless and free, passing through my lens for just a second.

Each frame isn’t just a photo—it’s a gift, a glimpse into a world that doesn’t pause for anyone.

Grateful for these small, beautiful moments nature chooses to share.

Today, the juvenile is no longer just a watcher from the hollow.
Today, it becomes an explorer!

At the doorway of its tiny wooden world, the juvenile pauses—half in, half out—feeling the pull of a much bigger sky.
Feathers still soft with youth, eyes wide with wonder, it leans forward. The wind carries stories: rustling leaves, distant calls, the rhythm of life beyond the nest.
Every instinct whispers the same thing—it’s time.
One small step, one uncertain flutter…
and the world opens.

(at this point of time images captured, it still remain in nest)

Not all acts of care are seen—but they matter just as much.

After every feeding, after every visit, the adult Coppersmith Barbet pauses at the nest entrance. With quiet precision, it removes what doesn’t belong—tiny bits of waste carried away from the hollow, keeping the home clean and safe.

No applause, no attention. Just a routine repeated over and over, driven by instinct and purpose.

In that simple act of housekeeping lies a deeper kind of care—the kind that protects, that prepares, that gives the next generation a better start.

Because sometimes, love is not just in what we give… but in what we quietly take away.

Deep within the hollow of an old tree, a small life waits—hidden from the world, yet never alone.

The Coppersmith Barbet parents take turns like clockwork. One arrives with berries, the other keeps watch. Feed, clean, protect… then repeat. No shortcuts, no complaints—just quiet dedication etched into every movement.

The juvenile grows between these moments. From a fragile voice in the dark to a curious beak at the entrance, watching, learning, preparing.

Parenthood here is simple, but never easy. It is patience in repetition, love in action, and sacrifice without expectation.

And one day, when the young finally takes flight, the story continues—carried on by wings once nurtured in that small, safe home.
