It's funny how things turn out, don't you think?
I shot this photo in october last year, not very far from where I live. I got a phone call from my bonus son who left home early, saying the whole valley was soaked in the most amazing mist. I practically ran to the car with my camera bag on the back and took off. I had planned for some time to check out the slopes nearby the Berga-Tuna mansion where the forest meets the fields leading up to the restored wet lands called Erkan.
I remember I got so caught up in the moment, I actually forgot about a booked online meeting I hade scheduled that morning. The conditions were so amazing I completely lost it. 😅 I shared a photo from this same morning just a few days later, but somehow I was never really satisfied with the edit of this one. Lately I've been experimenting with cross editing between Capture One and Photoshop and it turned out that a little trick in Photoshop could help with creating a slight glow to the mist that finally made the image come together.
So more than a year later, I now present you with the image "Beings in the mist".
