My favourite 2019 photographs down to 9! 😃 This time last year I set myself the goal of seeing an owl! 🦉 Didn't expect how involved I would get with bird photography! So excited to see what this year brings! 😄

Things to look out this year!
Business side:

A little baby gull (Common Gull/Fiskmås) from Spring. 🐥

I noticed this little chick in central Uppsala on the way home from work, where they seemed to have fallen from the tree nest above. This is quite common for birds, and interference can sometimes do more harm. However it was worrying as they were on a walkway, nearby a road, bicycle path and a drop into the river.

Myself and Sara spent a few hours observing them at a distance; only deterring them from going onto the road.

It was important to be careful as we did not want to attract any public attention to them. It was interesting however, how so many people walked past without noticing them (pay attention more and you'll see things you have never seen before!). I only took very few images late into the evening when it was quiet.

That is nature though, beautiful and harsh. And, so we had to eventually let nature take its course. We really hope they made it!
