Everyone takes something different home after their shoot. It is not just printed images. It is something more.

Maybe it is a day finally spent just for her, in an otherwise very busy life where she is rarely front and centre. Maybe it is that one photo she always wanted of herself, representing something she knew was there but had never quite managed to capture. Maybe she walks away with a new way of seeing herself, with a strength and a beauty she did not know she had in her.

Maybe it is all three.

She walked in with a nervous giggle, unsure of where to place her hands. ‘I don’t know how to pose,’ she said. I smiled and told her she didn’t have to, I’ve got her.

She chose the dress. I chose the background. I gave a few gentle prompts. And then, she gave me THIS.
