"Azote Library is sprung out of our fascination with planet Earth. Not only our physical globe, but also our world and our role in it as humans. Unfortunately, this transformation comes with great challenges. In order to meet these, we need to facilitate a better understanding of the relationship between man and environment. This is where Azote Library comes in. Our mission is to make knowledge of our world accessible through visual content. That’s why at first glimpse, you might think we are just a regular stock library. However, as our main focus is to supply the right information together with every subject portrayed, we prefer to see ourselves as a knowledge bank. We partner with photographers and videographers who share our fascination with our world. As they portray their own environment and subjects from areas they are familiar with, they can supply knowledge together with every frame. Through our platform we help pass this treasure on to those who need it. In the end, we split the profit in a socially sustainable business model. All in all, Azote Library is our contribution to science. Frame by frame we are imaging knowledge."
