I just published the Lightroom calendar templates for 2018 on my site. Yes, I know it's late in the year but I still managed to get them out one week earlier than last year.

This past weekend I made a short hike from our home together with my daughter. Took the opportunity to try out the low light capabilities of the Fujifilm XT-2. As many others, I'm super impressed!!! Hope to show some more images from the trip on the blog soon!

I had the pleasure to shoot a surprise wedding at our church today, a sweet couple in the 70ties tying the knot!
Gave me the chance to try out my new Fujifilm X-T2 on a wedding for the first time!

There is a way to tone the calendar templates directly in Lightroom using it's Split Toning function. It's not perfect, but can be really useful.

The idea is from the originators of the templates, Ed Weaver and Matt Kloskowski. More info on the blog:

What strikes you first when arriving to the Big Island of Hawaii (apart from the warm and humid winds) is it's unique geology. You are more or less walking on an old volcano, the bedrock is pitch black. You literally see how the moving lava flows have solidified when cooling. This combined with the mainly white corals from the islands reefs gives a unique combination of black and white rocks and sand on the islands beaches. Some beaches are pure black and some pure white. And some have a really interesting mix. Hope to explore this further in the coming week.
