Two afternoons out in the local forest. It´s still a bit chilly but the sun was out and the light was really nice.

We recently got a lot of snow and the last couple of days the snow is still pouring down. The lake isn´t frozen though since it hasn´t been very cold. Today was a bit of a snowstorm and the forecast predicts more and more snow. 🙂

Small reindeer in the Swedish mountains. It was almost too dark to get good photos but this little guy stood still on a small hill where there was just enough light to get decent images.

Whooper swan inthe local pond at sunset. There were two of them but they were swimming a bit apart so it worked out better to single out this one.

Eurasian wren building a nest down by the local creek. 🙂

Strix aluco, or tawny owl in english. Found a nest with 5 juvenile owls and a very tired mother. They normally sleep all day and hunt at night but juvenile have a week or two before they can fly and hunt on their own.

A lonely swan came flying by over the lake, had some struggle with the focus but at the last second I managed to take this shot wich I think turned out pretty nice.

Early morning fog and drizzle over the lake with a couple kayaking on the really calm water. It´s worth getting out even if the weather isn´t 100 % all the time.
