Stockholm occult melodic Death Metal band Serpent emerged from the underground scene in 2000, building a devoted following through six acclaimed demos. Now they unleash their debut full-length, The Pit and the Pendulum, via Hammerheart Records.

Blending razor-sharp guitars, haunting melodies and crushing intensity, the album takes listeners on a dark journey through occult rites, necromancy and Edgar Allan Poe’s nightmarish vision of the Spanish Inquisition.
