Waiting for the Thunderstorm

Two hours passed in complete stillness, even as thunderstorms slowly swept over Denmark and Sweden. There was no thunder this time, but it was strange to look out over a calm Öresund while heavy clouds rolled overhead.

When the sky keeps changing its mind…

Since yesterday evening, one dramatic front after another has swept in from Denmark across Öresund. At times the sky has been almost black with heavy rain, only to open up moments later into brilliant light, deep blue skies and the most extraordinary cloud formations.
I was hoping for thunderstorms and lightning.
Instead, the clouds stole the show.
Skanör and Falsterbo, yesterday evening and today.

Nature’s own abstract art – painted by light, wind and water.

Sometimes perfect, small, soft waves are formed, held together by the water's surface tension. These 'glitter paths' are incredible works of art—infinite in color and form—and I am left speechless with admiration every time I witness this.
