This time I'm taking a look at the GVM 800D 6X, a compact RGB LED panel that I've been testing over the last couple of weeks.

Coming from a photography background and regularly working with larger modifiers, I ended up finding a different role for these lights. Their portability, battery power and color control make them especially useful when I want to introduce controlled accent lighting into a scene.

When I first started photography, the Canon 1DX Mark II was the camera I looked up to. The price alone made it feel impossible, but it became a goal I kept in the back of my mind.

Eventually, I got one. Even after years of newer cameras being released, it continues to impress me every time I use it.

I recently took the Zhiyun MOLUS B500 and X100 RGB into a full portrait production, and honestly, the biggest takeaway was how flexible and fast the setup felt once things got moving.
