On my recent trip in Botswana I came across this Barn owl at one of the lodges I stayed at. Barn owls are not uncommon in Africa but due to it’s strict nocturnal behavior it is difficult to spot.

Struck gold today or at least “pure green”. Once in a lifetime encounter with a green mamba today in ISimangaliso, South Africa

I’m just returning back home after hosting a photo tour in the rainforests of Ghana for . One of the targets on this trip was Pangolins. After spending hours of walking the rainforest day and night to track Pangolins we completed the tour with three pangolins in total.
Here’s a Black- bellied pangolin the the tree canopy of the rainforest.
